Ask the business to stamp your Step Up for Lexington Card.


Fill your card with 10 stamps, from 3 or more different businesses, and you’re ready to enter the prize drawing. The more you shop, the more cards you can fill out and enter.





Weekly drawings held at the Visitors’ Center! Weekly prizes include $$ to spend at local businesses or on services. All entries are also eligible for the Grand Prize – a $400+ package.

The list of participating businesses will be updated on the Shop Lexington First web site.

Get a stamp each time you shop, eat, take a yoga class, buy gift, get your nails done, pick up cake, or do business with Lexington based companies (On-Line purchases count too)! Any purchase, big or small, qualifies. You get one stamp per sales slip or invoice.

Collect 10 stamps from at least three different businesses. Be sure to write your name and contact information on your card before turning it in at the Visitors Center at 1875 Mass. Ave. during business hours, or you can email a picture of your card to  

Rules and Regulations

The official Step Up for Lexington card or a facsimile, downloaded and printed out, will be accepted in the drawing.

Purchases made at participating Lexington business qualify for a stamp. 

Purchases must be made August 17 through October 17.

Purchases greater than zero dollars ($0.00) qualify for a stamp.

Only one stamp is awarded for each sales slip or invoice, regardless of the number of items in the transaction.

Present your Step Up for Lexington card at the time of purchase in order to get a stamp.

Purchases made remotely with a Lexington business, whether on-line, phone order, or mail order, qualify for a stamp. We will consider a box “stamped” when you write in the business name, date of purchase, and dollar amount of the purchase in a box.

Information For Business Owners

Step Up for Lexington is a FREE program created to help support our local businesses during these hard times through a Stamp Card event.

Participating businesses will be supplied with Stamp Cards to distribute to customers, and promotional posters and flyers. You can also print your own stamp card by clicking here.  Participating businesses will also be listed on and in our press releases.

What do I need to do as a local business owner?

  • Promote by posting an event flyer we will provide
  • Promote on your social media/Email list with images-We will provide info
  • Notify all staff members about the program
  • Distribute stamp cards to your customers
  • Have a stamp or sharpie near checkout to mark cards
  • Provide prizes! – This will bring customer is back into your store

What do customers have to do?

  • Purchase an item/service in order to receive a stamp
  • Get ten stamps to enter the prize drawing
  • Shop at at least three different local business

What will the prizes be?

  • Each business owner will decide what their prize or prizes will be
